Job Description

Rediscover Why You Enjoy Practicing Radiology

A successful overnight career should be sustainable.

Instead of measuring success by how many studies you can read in a shift, we've created an overnight position built around a sustainable workload, consistent workflow, and a schedule designed for long-term sustainability.

Our overnight radiologists average approximately 55 wRVUs during an eight-hour shift. While some national overnight positions advertise higher hourly compensation, they often require substantially higher production expectations. We believe compensation is best evaluated in the context of workload. Our physicians work at a pace that allows them to focus on quality rather than simply maximizing volume.

The schedule itself reflects the same philosophy. For East Coast radiologists, the shift begins at 3:00 AM Eastern, making it possible to maintain a more natural sleep schedule than many traditional overnight positions. It was designed for radiologists who want to enjoy overnight practice, not simply endure it.

Position Highlights

·       7 on / 14 off schedule

·       Eight-hour shifts

·       ≈ 55 wRVUs per shift

·       $425 per hour (≈ $62 per wRVU)

·       $428,400 Annual compensation (18 weeks)

·       Earlier East Coast start time (3:00 AM-11:00 AM ET)

·       Independent 1099 contractor

·       Community-based emergency departments and inpatient radiology

·       Level IV trauma

·       Approximately half of the studies are radiographs; the remainder are primarily CT and ultrasound with occasional MRI.

·       Optional additional shifts available

·       Malpractice coverage, state licensing fees, and all computer equipment provided

·       McKesson and Mach7 PACS and PowerScribe dictation

Quality over volume. Sustainability over burnout.
